Sunday nights

I see that it is now becoming a habit of mine to write at night, which I think is better anyway as I believe that I write better at night. 

Life is going on full speed ahead, with a trip to Singapore in two weeks one of the biggest footnotes of this year to see two bands: 

Garbage and  

The Beach Boys.

I can't wait to see them and travel again. I can't wait til I see the food, taste the food, smell the smells, all that.  A new experience, with good friends and lovely new things to learn :) Do YOU guys have any suggestions of where to eat? I know the hawker centers are awesome and cheap, but anywhere else we should check out on a budget? :)

Midnight again!

Ah the beginning of the month. The beginning of anything is exciting really, isn't it? I've just stated on twitter that I need a bigger vision board, and a friend offered that I should get a vision wall. 

I may just do that.  

I have a deadline looming so I will make this fast!

I love Wes Anderson's sense of style, the tone of his movies, the momentum, everything.  So this is awesome for me.  I still need to watch Moonrise Kingdom. And boy, I love Bill Murray :)

Midnight post

I know I've been gone for a while but here I am now, and with a few pieces of good news under my belt!

I have been asked to be a contributor to one of the biggest newspapers in the Philippines! :) It is a weekly thing and my articles (upon approval) will be published every Saturday. I"ll be mostly writing about music and arts, things I actually KNOW about.  Another is a lovely online shop also here in the Philippines, Ava.ph.  I warn you: upon entering, I bet that more often than not, YOU WILL END UP BUYING SOMETHING. :) I obviously have. HIHI.  I will be writing for them short articles about things I pick up online and I am seriously debating if I should open this blog up to readers from there. 

Tonight I've decided that I would.  This would encourage me to write here more often as well.

I have also bowed to the inevitable and gotten an iPhone and I love Foodspotting. I will figure out a way to sync it with this account :) HIHIHI!

Tuesday night

Still trying to get over this crappy head cold... and somewhat cough and fever. I'm scared it is dengue, but so far my fever has broken and after having some really hot noodle soup, my body seems to just need more rest and maybe a little chocolate.

Anyway, today is about (half delusional) ideas. And boy do I have one.  I need to hone it more just to be sure. All I'm going to say is that it is about food. 

So I love this site and I'm sure that I've said that before. I don't care. It's an awesome site :) 

I've decided that I will go to the hardware / house stuff store and buy me about 4-5 black frames and start cross stitching again.  Maybe some nice cute little messages, inspiring little things that they usually put on posters, then hang them about my home :)

There are things today brings like, the 14th day of my writing a line per day. Today's line is as follows:

DAY 14: The beat of the keys are off; they stress &steal the melody, make it sound like a tragedy, &the rhythm made is of stronger stuff...

Not the best line in my arsenal, but at least I"m still writing. I think I missed a day or two, but I'll make up for that in the end with extra days. At least I'm back to writing.

If not here, somewhere. Always and every day.

This weekend is for friends and my home.  And to my dad. I will spend Sunday just thinking about him...wondering what he would've thought of the world today as it stands.

It'd be interesting to hear what he thinks of my job for example.

Ah well. Here's to the almost end of the week! :)
