Trying new stuff this Friday

So today I'm trying this recipe for HOMEMADE BABY WIPES OUT.  It is by far the easiest recipe I've found, and I've been actually successful in cutting the big old paper roll in half.  Just decided to write as I'm waiting out the results!

I am also currently looking for a baby book format online I can just download and fill out.  I can't be bothered to buy a whole new book, it is too much and besides, I want this to be more personal.  I'm sure my son will want his to be unique.

I can't wait to go to out local market this weekend and check out the goodies.  I'm planning some of the Christmas pressies I want to get for the older, um, more mature folks. Since this market is all about organic and natural and all that jazz, it is the perfect time to get a head start on it. If you're in Manila on Sundays, check this out: http://legazpisundaymarket.com/

I got myself my brand spanking new Vader Moleskine.

hehehehe :)

Ok so now to see if the homemade baby wipes are ready! :)

They are an they smell AWESOME! I used all J&J baby products. They feel so nice and clean, bringing my OC-ness to whole levels :)

YAY! :) This calls for breakfast for dinner and I've decided to make spinach and bacon eggs benedict. Will post soon ;) YUM :)

Tuesday almost Wednesday....

It is Tuesday and because it is a little late, I will keep this short and sweet with really cool pictures ;)

How cute is this dog in the hat? LOOKATIT! :) This made me un-tired after such a tiresome day.

I finally have my own bottle, thanks to one of my besties who bought it for me.  I think I will wear this tomorrow and imbibe the spirit of Mademoiselle Coco.

I have recently gotten into gardening, and this weekend, I can't wait to get some succulents; like THESE

I want to put these around the house, including these little plants that supposedly absorb smells, which usually go into bathrooms.  We will now put this hopefully in the bathrooms around the house, especially near the cat litter box :)

Good night dear blog. See you again soon ;)

Big and back :)

To whom it may concern: I am now happily pregnant and 8 months along. I am due on November 27 and I am currently loving every minute of it, albeit some moments are painful, like today.

Moving on, I've been looking at new things online, such as trying new things to do around the house, to make everything cleaner in a safer way, especially because the baby is coming :) Because of all the research, my fellow girlfriends who are pregnant have convinced me to write a blog entry about it.  So here we go:

I have found several things at home that I can use to clean, and ones that are about as cheap as ONE bottle of bleach or cleaner.  Ok first and my favorite: WHITE DISTILLED VINEGAR.  My very close second, which is usually used with the first, is BAKING SODA.  Here is the lovely (and an extensive) list of their uses.  The other one which is the one I haven't really tried out yet is HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. Will try these very soon though :)

Because we're having a boy (!), I have been looking at, and been loving the color combination of orange, grey, brown and green.  So these following things are making me happy today:

Though I will always love pale pale green, like this from here.

Apart from all this, I've also started looking into life hacks.  I love life hacks! :) Here are 15 from Apartment Therapy.

And I am loving this new blog as well... and THIS ONE :) Well new in my eyes :)

I will leave this from Neil Gaiman, on why we need libraries, reading and daydreaming :)

Yes. It seems that the most adventure I will be getting in my future has to do with kids :)  So I am so embracing these last few weeks of "calm".

See you guys soon. I will be posting again here in cyberspace ;)

In and Out

Hello Blogosphere! I"m back after leaving this poor blog alone for what seems like nearly a year!!! (Has it been.......?)

Anyway, hello, I'm back again. I hope I haven't missed out on too much even if the real world had moved, well at least mine has... and SIGNIFICANTLY!

I've again started a new job but something that is different is that I have moved out of my home of 5 years, and moved into a new one.  I have been in the process of changing it up, even if it is a rental, by giving it a lick of paint and new furniture.  I just wish that the landlord was a little more involved and allow us to take out the furniture that is left here, which frankly is...... well, it is not our style. And it is sadly old. Really old. Like, 1970s old.  But hey, no complaints. It is a lovely new apartment up on the 8th floor, and we have a gorgeous balcony, and wind... wow is there lovely wind! Especially when it is raining :)

Because we have a balcony, I've started to build us a small little balcony garden. It's just a few plants NOW, but it will soon hopefully, be flowering and smelling the way I'm imagining it to be.

That is my toes and my humble basil, chive and lavender plants.

Slowly, slowly things are coming together.  :)

There is another piece of news that I am DYIIIIING to write about but.....
I think I will wait til next time to tell my news to cyberspace.  I still want to keep the secret a little longer ;)

It's nice to be back, and as always, I am so sorry I left in the first place. I won't do that again...
